Interesting celebrations and events in Barbados throughout the year include Horseracing and Sailing festivals which attract international teams. Barbados Music events like the Jazz Festival, showcase internationally acclaimed artistes, whilst Holders International Festival of Culture celebrates Opera, Music and Theatre as does The Crop Over Festival.
NIGHTLIFE
Barbados has many superb restaurants along the West Coast. Early evening begins with spectacular, colourful dinner-shows like the Bajan Roots and Rhythms Show. Or enjoy Oistins, a fishing town on the South Coast of the island, famed for its Fish Fry. Late night bars, pubs, sports bars, jazz clubs, floorshows, theatres and a drive- in- cinema can all be found on the island. At clubs you can dance the night away into the early hours to Caribbean rhythms at reggae clubs, nightclubs, latin parties or beach bars.
